Coquito – A Puertorican delicasy that looks like Eggnog

I just want to start off by saying….

No, there is no egg in this Coquito.

This is our puertorican version of what America would call Eggnog. It’s a yearly tradition. The flavor being mostly of coconut, with hints of cinnamon, and other delicious festive spices, the coconut does not overpower your taste buds in any kind of way. It’s just…

well…FREAKING DELICOUS!

This drink is often home-made and brought to friends and relatives as a gift. Typically some add Rum to this while others prefer it without.

This year i have decided to make a few batches and share with my peeps.

Hope they like it 😀

The bottles used were recycled and sanitized. They were basically saved for this purpose.

The logo was fun to create. It was cut using red, blue and black cricut vinyl. The rest of the bottle decorations were added to give that ‘Christmas gift’ feel.
